the low pay that is given to the factory workers. It allows then to barely live

Another social issue is strikes and protests that have occurred in order to
fight the low wage that they are getting along with improving working
conditions.
Abe researched the HP Laptop. During his research, he found out that though the origin of the company is The United States of America, the product was manufactured in China for a production cost of $100. He further found out that raw materials were imported from places such as Africa and South East-Asia.
ReplyDeleteDue to the product being manufactured in China, the labour is extremely cheap. This has caused social issues such as strike and protests due to the low pay that is not sufficient enough to lead a sustainable life as well as the working conditions of the factory.
Overall, Abe researched his product well. I would suggest for him to cite his sources of information as well as be more specific about which countries in Asia and Africa did the materials come from.
